You do not need to go far to discover why this neighborhood is a hidden gem, as some of the best bars, restaurants, and art galleries in NOLA are close by.

Getting Around:
The best way to get around is by foot, bike, or Uber. Depending on your stride, the French Quarter is 10 to 15 minutes walking or a short Uber away. Many guests, especially locals, prefer to spend time on Frenchmen Street, a 5 minute walk, or in the local galleries, restaurants, bars, and cafes throughout the Marigny and Bywater. Walking in this neighborhood is quite safe and common at all hours of the day and night. Use your common sense when coming and going late at night and take a taxi or Uber if you are ever in doubt.
