Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location is very close to the entrance of the Pisqually entrance of Mt Rainier park. It was big enough for our entire group and the main living area was perfect for everyone to hang out with the kids.

Negative: I sent 2 messages to the property asking for recommendations to find snow, one on booking and one in an email and never got a response. There is a note that the deck is not stable and has rotting boards and posts so we weren’t able to use it. The driveway to the chalet has a couple very steep spots. It was a little sketchy in the mud, I’m not sure we could’ve made it up if there had been snow. Just for information for future guests (not a complaint) - it has baseboards for heat and once it’s warmed up it’s really warm. We had to open windows and turn them way down because it got pretty hot. The stairs to the basement are super steep. There is a sauna that the guys really enjoyed after our snow day. The beds are pretty firm. It’s a cool place but needs to be repaired and updated IMO.
