Hawk Field Main House is in a class of its own. Classic European Luxury styling will instantly put you at ease throughout this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house located in Pierstown, just minutes from the Village of Cooperstown. The original house was built in the early 1800s and has been completely renovated and expanded to showcase the impeccable Scandinavian taste of the owners who are originally from Denmark!
The kitchen and great room was a magnificent addition in 2023. The clean lines, sleek natural wood custom made cabinets, stone countertops with waterfall edges and high end appliances instantly feel like home. A sleeping loft is above the great room with a queen bed and smart TV as well as a full bathroom with a frameless glass shower at the base of the loft stairs, easily accessible from the loft and the great room. The centerpiece of the great room space is a huge picture window over looking the distance valley views sure to take your breath away. The kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils and kitchen accouterments you will need to create a fantastic meal. Or you could step out onto the bluestone patio to use the dome outdoor wood fired pizza oven to whip up an Italian delight! There is a gas grill as well for good old fashion BBQ. Enjoy any meals inside at the great room dining table or outside under the covered dining space with a custom-made wood picnic table. The original kitchen was converted into a service kitchen and laundry area, this space is conveniently near the outdoor dining. There is a farm sink, full fridge and serving dishes making dining alfresco a breeze.
Just off of the 2nd kitchen area you will find a home office with French doors leading outside to the harmonious garden, every element in the garden is in perfect harmony with nature surrounding it. On the other side of the office there is a large room which could be used as a formal dining room but it is currently set up with a ping pong table for family fun. Completing the first floor is a cozy living room with a large wrap around sectional couch and a Samsung smart TV that looks like a piece of art only complementing the real works of art and sculptures throughout the home.
The second floor is made up of three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Atop of the stairs to the right is a bedroom with a twin bed, a full bathroom is just across the hallway, even the shower has a view of the rolling hills. The 2nd bedroom is lined with books, sleep amongst the classics! There is a hidden TV as well as a sitting area to enjoy a good read. The primary bedroom is across the hallway with a king bed and an ensuite full bathroom. The primary has hand painted murals aligning the walls and custom built in closets. The original hardwood wide plank flooring has been meticulously restored and updated with white wash finishing, a very nice touch to the 2nd floor.

The main area consists of a queen canopy bed covered in luxurious bedding, the sofa for lounging about and a bistro table with seating for 2. The high ceilings and tall windows bring in lots of natural light making the cute space feel much larger than it is. It's hard to say what is more intriguing to gaze upon, the amazing art work on the walls or the view from the French doors onto the pool area.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make a meal, all you need to do is bring the food! The bar sitting in the kitchen has a fantastic view of the lush green rolling hills, you can see for miles. Enjoy outside dining and sitting on the private side patio which you can access from the exterior door in the kitchen. A gas grill, a table and chairs are perfectly placed on the patio for guests to enjoy the outdoors and the view.
A full bathroom with a wide shower is located just off the main space, teak flooring gives off a spa-like feeling. As you enter the bathroom area there is a separate sitting area from the main space. A great space to relax and read a book.
Bask in the sun and splash in the pool just outside your door, there are several sun loungers to lay in and soak up the view. Please note the pool is fenced in for your safety as well as an alarm on the French doors in the pool house.
