The fully renovated cottage sits on our 105 acre farm and is filled with country charm. Cottage was built circa 1840 but is equipped with a fully equipped modern kitchen, spacious living area, bath with tub/shower combo and two upstairs bedrooms. Amenities include central heat and a/c, satellite tv and free wifi access. The cottage sits approx 150 yards from the beautiful Juniata river which boasts some of central Pa's best bass fishing. Train lovers will enjoy watching trains as they travel through the upper farm fields as they make their way to Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. Summary: We had a lovely stay while in the area unwinding and wine tasting. The property is as advertised and the owners are friendly and accommodating. The train does come by several times overnight and sounds the horn at the nearby crossing. I am a light sleeper so I used ear plugs the second night and slept better!
