Summary: Checked in on a Friday night. Arrived to find a sad house in need of some major tlc. Dirty pool, all outdoor amenities as advertised (cornhole, lounge chairs, ping pong) broken, no way to light the fire pit. Contacted Justin and he sent someone to check it out. Woke up the next day and sent Justin this email: “Good morning Justin. Waking up this morning and I have to let you know how disappointed we are. This was a surprise trip for our kids, we’ve been planning it for months and kept it a surprise until this last week. After this weekend we are taking them to Sedona and the Grand Canyon (which is why the laundry soap is important). When we presented them with the trip the thing they were most excited about was the “super nice” house we rented and talked the whole week about jumping in the pool when we arrived and playing in the yard. To show up to a dirty pool and all the outdoor games broken was such a bummer. We thought we’d light a fire in the pit, try and change the mood, no way to light it. Let’s put on a record and listen to some music, broken record player. The man who stopped by was very nice but promised he’d leave and come right back with a lighter and leave it on the porch, he never did, the cornhole game he brought is toddler size. Half the outdoor furniture is missing cushions and those that are there are completely saturated with water. The flowers on the table were a nice touch, to bad they are dead. The master bed sounds and feels like it could collapse at any moment and there is a toilet that runs on and off all night, I just expected more based off the pictures and the price tag. The good news is the pool looks better this morning after he turned the pump on last night. I imagine it’s hard to maintain a vacation rental, especially around spring break but this property is in need of some major TLC, I hope some of this can be rectified somehow.” Justin never responded until I emailed again that night because upon returning from a baseball game the freezer had leaked all over the kitchen floor and we had no way to clean it because although we paid extra for a 5th person, we had 4 bath towels. He told me that it would be easy for me to just go buy a lighter myself for the fire pit and that the guy would be back. We went to dinner assuming that would not happen and to our surprise when we returned there were towels, laundry soap and a lighter on the table, meaning he let himself in the house without letting us know.Do not recommend
