Positive: The resort consists of several blocks of one or two apartments each, each with outdoor space, and spread over quite a wide area so there is plenty of quiet and privacy. The resort is built onto the side of a hill, so there is a lot of walking up and down, but it's very green and well maintained. The shared salt water pool area is lovely, there is an excellent tennis court. Our apartment was a little dated but perfectly functional and comfortable. The nearby town of Montaione is small but pretty, there's a good supermarket nearby, and there is a lot of beautiful Tuscan scenery on your doorstep.

Negative: We found very little wrong. You definitely need a car. The property is at the bottom of a long gravel road, you wouldn't want to have to walk anywhere. Others have mentioned lack of salt, pepper and oil (it's a pain to have to bring it with you) and they only provided 2 toilet rolls for a family of four for a week, which given attention in other areas just seems a bit silly. Apparently they want you to ask for it each time you run out! Take insect repellent!
