Summary: We stayed in room 318 at the Tamarac in n Fort Lauderdale. The room is in terrible condition. Walls patched. Broken fixtures. The mattresses and pillows were also horrible. Overwhelming air freshener smell at check in. Stale smell after it wore off. The hallways look like they hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. I’ve stayed in many different La Quintas and never had an experience like this one. In my opinion, it needs to be torn down and rebuilt.
