The main floor offers a great room with pretty fireplace (the fireplace is off limits and can't be used), sectional sofa, TV, dining table for 6 plus seating for 4 at the large island and 2 bedrooms with king beds. There is access to the large deck from the great room. The primary bedroom suite boasts a full bath and private lakeside deck. There is also a shared full bath on this floor. Going down the stairs; the kids will squeal with delight when they gaze upon the elf door under the stairs leading to their very own secret fort (go ahead and crawl in to check it out - we know you want to). The elf door is part of a full-sized door, making easy access by adults as well. When you're not out on the lake, you can challenge your vacation-mates to a game of pool or transport back in time to the old arcade days and see who will reign supreme as high scorer on Pacman (with 40 games) or Arcade Legends (with over 100 games); get those smack-talk zingers ready. After a long day of adventures, you can snuggle into the large sectional sofa for a movie. The lower level also gives you a bunk room with 2 twin-over-full bunks (stairs to the upper bunks make for an easy climb in and out of bed) and 2 twin trundle beds plus yet another full bath. Both floors have central A/C.
Outside, you will contemplate trying the stand-up paddle board (remember; today's valiant attempt will be next Holiday's funny dinner-table story), paddling the shore in one of the two single kayaks, sitting on the shaded patio and taking in the lake view while enjoying a cool beverage or relaxing in the hammock as you listen to the sounds of the lake and get to that book everyone's talking about (or gossip magazine - we don't judge). When it's time to cool off, the granite steps will lead you down to the sand beach where you can make a sand-castle or swim out to the raft to work on your tan or enjoy a moment of solitude before the rest of the group finds you. The dock will accommodate your boat up to 26 feet in length (the owner keeps their boat on one side of the dock). In the evening, you'll reconnect around the campfire while you laugh about the adventures of the day and cheers to tomorrow with a s'more right off the fire.
