Our Pool-House is the perfect retreat for you.
Be Our Guest at this unique and tranquil getaway. In the 1970's this was Yuma's most prestigious neighborhood, it's a small private community of 3-dozen homes. This hidden gem sits on our property, behind our main residence but completely separated from the main home. The pool house is perfect for that peaceful 'solo' time or a couple that needs to relax for a few days.
The space
This is a pool-house, set up as a 600 sq.ft. studio apartment. It features a new and comfortable king bed, bathroom, living and dining areas, and kitchenette.
We take pride in welcoming guests to Yuma during the week; Sunday to Thursday; Friday and Saturday are available at a premium.
Guest access
You will have the entire Pool-House for your use. From a pool-house perspective, it's large. From the main house perspective, it's small. Regardless of how you judge it, it has the conveniences of a full home. You will even have your own parking with private entrance, access to the pool and spa, and a great relaxing time.
Other things to note
1) The kitchen area has a fridge, full-size microwave, toaster oven with air fry feature, k-cup coffee maker, and a small sink. There is NO STOVE. For same reason, there is no cookware although general cups, plates and utensils are provided.
2) The water heater is small and may not be sufficient for those what want a long hot shower in the winter. (In Yuma, there is no cold water in the summer anyways)
3) Door to the shower is 19" wide (narrow) and maynot be comfortable or even suitable for some individuals.
4) There are dogs on the property. They are fenced out of the space and never enter the guest house.
5) There is no clothes washer/dryer available.
6) Street parking is not allowed at night. You must park in your space south of the pool-house but completely inside the property as to allow the gate to close behind you. There is enough space to fit a Chevy Tahoe, however, if you have a vehicle longer that 19 feet you will need to make prior arrangements with the host for you to park on the main driveway.
7) The gate to the property is opened and closed manually, it is made of metal and wood which may feel heavy, it requires a 20lb or so force which maybe too much for some individuals.
