Summary: We found the staff friendly and helpful (there were some rude guests one day that insisted on having their music louder than the music at the bar - no one seemed concerned with the complaints and didn't really do anything about it. I did get in trouble for moving umbrellas but it got worked out in a satisfactory manner. Our room was very clean, spacious and a lovely view. We also needed extra blankets and they were delivered promptly. There were a couple of days that the showers and foot wash was not working coming up from the beach. The food in the one restaurant was interesting - there was always something that we enjoyed at each meal. Very special mention to the two evening staff at the restaurant - Catalina and Dali ***** There were some amazing staff worth mentioning, the lifeguard at the pool, Diego, Eliseo, Merediem (front desk) there was also a person at the front desk who did not speak any English but figured out I needed towels and got them for us, Migel Angel, Pedro and Victor (bartenders) and the two beautiful humans at the beach making hamburgers - each one touched my heart and made our stay wonderful. I am not sure if I will get back to Solymar but I feel blessed to have been there.
