Positive: The location next to the southwest corner of Balboa Park was great, and there were plenty of things within walking distance or a very short drive. There was a lot of space in the unit, and the view was nice.

Negative: Although previous guests have complained online about the noise from the commercial planes flying overhead, that was not bad at all. What WAS bad was how thin the walls were in the building. I could hear someone in a neighboring unit lightly clearing their throat as if they were in the next room with the door open. A few women were talking loudly in a nearby room, and it sounded like they were shouting. The check-in instructions are a bit lengthy and confusing because there are three separate doors to enter just to get into your room. Free parking is at a minimum; there is metered, paid street parking that is always available, but you have to look around on neighboring blocks if you want free parking.
