DESCRIPTION: Stay in the prime Blagden Alley / Naylor Court area in a historical carriage house located in a quiet alley. This freestanding home in Blagden Alley-Naylor Court Historic District was converted in 1921 into the F. J. Simonds Carpenter Shop (the sign visible on the side of the house). The home features a large chef's kitchen, open floor plan, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, and oversized master bathroom. Located steps from the best restaurants, bars, and stores. Guests enter the property through a secure, gated front porch outfitted with a bistro set for alfresco dining. The personal, remodeled residence features hardwood floors and exposed brick walls with steel and wooden beams. Despite its period exterior, the interior includes every modern amenity and an extensive art collection. The oversize, well appointed chef's kitchen features a large, central dine-in island next to the open floor plan dining and living rooms. The secondary full bath is located on the first floor. Through rolling barn doors guests pass into each of the two bedrooms off the skylit landing. The bright master bedroom features a four-poster queen sized bed and a furnished balcony/terrace for additional outdoor living. The ensuite master bath includes a large spa tub and separate, double headed shower and dual sinks. The second bedroom features an upholstered queen sized bed and a large, European closet system. Ceiling fans are available in the living room and both bedrooms. Extensive ceiling lighting exists throughout.
