Summary: Lovely big room in a fantastic old building, unfortunately, the hotel forgot to mention that the whole side of the building is clad with scaffolding and this does bloke the view into the gardens completely. Also the parking arrangement is a little daunting too, but it was all ok, you might think €30 for a night is expensive, but really, it’s not, first off think where you are, and then it took quite literally minutes for the valet to bring the car up to us outside the hotel, unmarked, approx 1km added and no damage at all, so all good. Finally, quick word regarding stairs, there’s no lift and a couple of large flights, if you have heavy cases good luck, but once you’re upstairs the architecture is stunning. On the whole, it was ok.
