Positive: Mawimbi is one of our favorite hotels anywhere in the world and it exceeded every one of our expectations. It's in a perfect location on the edge of the town center, close to all of the restaurants and bars but still quiet at night. The restaurant/bar is fantastic -- we especially loved the mezcalitas, coladas, fresh seafood, and generous breakfasts. The beachfront is beautiful and has plenty of chairs and hammocks for everyone. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and well designed. And best of all, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We can't wait to come back.
