Summary: This is a brand new hotel with all modern amenities at a very reasonable rate!!! We booked a one bedroom suite- at least 800 square feet- furnished with California king bed, 1 ½ bathrooms, living room, full kitchen, dining area that seats four, and 2 televisions. Pictures on this site does did not do the room justice. It is located in a quiet neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac (no traffic noise) a little north of the city center. It was a 5-7 minute taxi ride to main tourist areas. Our hosts (Juan and Abigail) treated us like royalty. They graciously accommodated multiple requests due to horrific Aeromexico flight changes and cancellations. Surrounding area has quaint mom and pop restaurants, cafes, and small convenience stores. We highly recommend Hotel Suites Quieto if you are looking for a respite from the hustle and bustle of downtown Oaxaca City.
