Summary: Was clean, minimal amenities. Bed was comfy, but pillows were hard and flat. Definitely upgrade room if possible. Regular room is very small, has small fridge and microwave but no counter in bathroom, so have to sit curling irons blow dryer etc in sink to get ready. Also may be weird if not wtaying as a couple that the wall between the shower and bed is glass (frosted from neck down) but still weird. Heated pool no hot tub. Appreciated use of bikes. Many nearby restaurants but a mile from main Manhattan blvd area. Not right off the beach its a steep 4 lil blocks, so if wish to stay on the beach there are better options, especially near Hermosa pier. The area seems clean and safe with a warm town vibe. But rooms are right off the road so you hear cars all night and lack of soundproofing you can hear neighbors tv and people clobbering their luggage up the stairs all hours of night. We did not sleep well here.
