Summary: I booked on Hotels.com for a fixed price that was reasonable. What Hotels.com didn't tell me was that in addition to the rate, I had to pay a security deposit when I checked in. The individual that checked me in was a child about 13 years old that was facetiming his mother for step by step instructions. I was told I would receive my security deposit the next day. It's been 2 weeks and despite repeated calls, I have yet to receive my deposit back. A big scam from Hotels.com and Texas Inn. Do not use this site or this hotel.
